Nightmare WranglerThe sky cracked open. The clouds split. She rode.   Only one. One small rider on one small horse rode into the world.   The world was a fearful place. The sky black, the clouds purple, the trees twisted and broken. Small lizards, grey with a phosphorescent purple stripes in strange patterns on their scaly hides. It was the very definition of a barren wasteland, despite the fact that it brimmed with a certain unnatural life. Eyes seemed to peer out of every chink in the rock, or under a stone, or behind that small, dusty brush. The Big Rock Candy MountainThe old man walked down the railroad tracks, his pack slung over a stick. He whistled as he walked, making a tune in time to his walking stick clinking on the rails or clunking on the ties. Off in the distance, he saw the sun setting beyond a small mound. The landscape about him seemed almost entirely unreal.   
One evening as the sun went down and the jungle fire was burning  Down the track came a hobo hikin’, and he said, “Boys I'm not turning…”   
The old man continued to walk, hearing no other bird nor beast. He paused a moment to look behind him, and no train rumbled on the tracks behind, and there was no sign of The Big Rock Candy Mountain
